Honorary Doctorate

 
           For a man of his many accomplishments, Dr. Nissenbaum amassed relatively few awards and recognitions. The reason is that he was a humble man, and he refused the many accolades and tributes that were offered to him. He abhorred the self-aggrandizement inherent in such activities and chose instead to live a simple life of quiet service to his family, patients and community. Nevertheless, he took great pride in the awards that are represented on this page.
